Neat Sections ("the app") is built by Neat Digital. This policy explains what the app accesses, what it stores, and your rights.
What the app accesses
- Store details: your shop domain and plan type, used to identify your store and apply development store pricing.
- Themes: the app reads your theme list so you can choose where to install sections, and writes only its own section files (named ns-*) into your theme. It never reads, edits, or deletes any other theme file.
- Billing: purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Shopify. The app never sees your payment details.
What the app stores
The app keeps records of your purchases, subscription status, and which sections are installed on which themes, so it can show ownership, deliver updates, and honour your plan. It stores no customer data from your store and no personal data beyond the store owner contact Shopify provides for support.
Data removal
When you uninstall the app, Shopify notifies us and all stored records for your store are deleted within 48 hours, in line with Shopify's data protection requirements. Sections you installed are native theme files that you own; they remain in your theme and keep working.
Third parties
The app shares no data with third parties. Hosting is provided by Vercel and data is stored with Neon; both act as processors under standard data protection agreements.
