Introduction

Horizon Pro Manager ("the App") is developed and operated by Neat Digital ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains what data the App collects, why we collect it, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

The App is a companion tool for Horizon Pro theme owners. It provides license activation, theme version management, and one-click theme updates within the Shopify admin.

What Data We Collect

When you install and use Horizon Pro Manager, we collect the following data:

• Shop domain — Your Shopify store URL (e.g. your-store.myshopify.com), used to identify your installation
• Merchant email — The email address associated with your license key, provided by you during purchase
• Theme information — Your active theme ID and current theme version, used to deliver updates
• Session data — Shopify session tokens for authentication (automatically managed by Shopify)
• Update history — Records of theme updates applied, including version numbers and timestamps

What We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect, access, or store:

• Customer personal data (names, emails, addresses, payment information)
• Order or transaction data
• Browsing behaviour or analytics
• Product or inventory data
• Any data from your store's customers

The App only accesses your store's theme files (to deliver updates) and metaobjects (to store license status). It does not read or modify any other store data.

How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used solely for:

• License validation — Verifying your license key is valid and checking activation limits
• Theme updates — Determining your current version and delivering new releases
• Support — Helping resolve issues if you contact us about your installation

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (via Vercel). All connections use TLS encryption. The App is deployed on Vercel with HTTPS enforced on all endpoints.

Session data is managed by Shopify's authentication system and stored in our database only for the duration of your active sessions.

Data Retention

• Session data — Deleted when you uninstall the App
• Shop records — Retained for license integrity (so your license remains valid if you reinstall). Deleted on request via GDPR compliance webhooks
• License records — Retained indefinitely as proof of purchase (tied to your transaction, not your shop installation)
• Update logs — Retained for support purposes. Deleted on request or when shop data is erased

GDPR Compliance

The App implements all mandatory Shopify GDPR compliance webhooks:

• Customer data request — We do not store customer data, so no data is returned
• Customer data erasure — We do not store customer data, so no data requires deletion
• Shop data erasure — On request, all shop records, sessions, and update logs are permanently deleted

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — Contact us to receive a copy of all data we hold about your store
• Delete your data — Uninstall the App or contact us to request full data erasure
• Rectify inaccurate data — Contact us if any stored information is incorrect

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
