Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up Horizon Pro on your store and start receiving updates.

Install the App

Install Horizon Pro Manager from the app page or directly from your Shopify admin. The app will appear in your Apps section once installed.

The app requires access to your theme files (to deliver updates) and store metafields (to store license status). It does not access customer data, orders, or products.

Activate Your License

Open the app and enter the license key from your purchase confirmation email. Keys follow the format HP-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.

Once activated, your license status is stored as a metafield on your shop. This enables premium features within the theme.

  1. Open the app from your Shopify admin
  2. Paste your license key into the input field
  3. Click Activate License
  4. You'll see a confirmation with your license details

Detect Your Theme

Navigate to the Updates page in the app and click Detect Theme. The app scans your installed themes and automatically finds Horizon Pro.

This step links the app to your specific theme installation so it knows where to deliver updates.

Check for Updates

The Updates page shows your current version and the latest available version. When an update is available, you'll see a notification with a changelog of what's new.

Click Update Theme to apply the update. The app pushes updated files directly to your theme — no manual file management needed.

💡 Good to know

Updates never overwrite your customisations. Protected files like settings_data.json and template JSON files are excluded from updates, so your theme editor settings, section arrangements, and content stay exactly as they are.

Customise Your Theme

Head to Online Store → Themes → Customize in your Shopify admin. Horizon Pro includes 35+ interactive sections — add them to any page from the section picker.

Each section has its own settings for colours, typography, spacing, and animations. Explore the settings panel to fine-tune every detail.
